About Sara

Hello Beautiful Beings... Nice to Meet You

My name is Sara. I was born and raised in Medellin, Colombia. My parents, being from two different countries, cultures, and religions, offered us a home where acceptance of diversity was embraced and critical thinking encouraged. At 32, after a divorce, I moved to Boston, Massachusetts, with my then 6-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son. I completed a master’s degree and then migrated to Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Canada has been kind to me, and I have made a home here for my children and myself. In 2010, I followed my independent nature and became self-employed by starting my private counselling and coaching practice. I have journeyed into my inner labyrinths with as much curiosity and passion as I have explored forests, grasslands, mountains, canyons, and rivers. My Vipassana meditation practice and connection to nature have become invaluable resources that influence and shape the way I show up in the world.

I live and love life with passion. I love deeply and I am deeply intentional about sharing loving-kindness. I am passionately tender and tenderly enthusiastic. I am compassionate, yet I am not afraid to invite others to dig deep into their shadows. I love and live the words “curiosity” and “perspective,” as these concepts support me in understanding myself and others in a kind, open and respectful way. I have shifted from seeking and finding to living with awareness and creating with intention. I live courageously, and seeking expansion is natural to me. I am an integrator, dot connector, storyteller, teacher, guide, and fellow human. I have healed much of what once kept me from honouring my authentic Self. I appreciate, honour and give voice to my open heart.

I am a lifelong learner and relate to knowledge and wisdom from diverse realms. I am fluent in English and Spanish and can speak science, pluralistic spiritual perspectives, radical acceptance, depth psychology, and/or empirical insight. I express myself creatively through dance, movement, art and words.

I am funny and adventurous and have been told by friends that I bring ease, comfort, and calm to their hearts. I believe in the healing power of embraces. I value courage, integration and coherence. Being conscious and loving are part of my essence. I am the queen of silver linings and a “gold in the wound” finder. You can expect me to be true to myself and, therefore, to you.
